Los Angeles, California- The 48 year-old singer and song writer, rocker, and one of many single celebrities Sheryl Crow announced Friday on her website that she has added another son.

She announced to the public through her website: “Hey everybody! I have some exciting news to share with you guys- Wyatt has a new little bother! Levi James was born April 30^th.” She added: “Just wanted you all to be the first to hear the good news.”

Crow said “For me, it has been the most incredible experience. I never knew how much love I would give and feel. If you’re a woman with a big career and no husband, then you don’t have to not have a family. You just have to do it differently. You have to create your experience of life”. She has said that adopting is the best thing she’s ever done.

Wyatt Steven Crow (whom she adopted in May 2007) was the first adopted child of Sheryl Crow, 3 years old now after she overcame a battle with breast cancer and after splitting with Lance Armstrong, a Tour de France winner. Crow has said that adopting is the best thing she’s ever done.

She told Parade “Two days before Wyatt came, I finished a Stop Global Warming college tour. When a baby comes into your life, the environment becomes so personal. Having him around, this little innocent spirit really made me fearless about writing what I wanted to write and about not being afraid of whom I was going to piss off.”

“A family doesn’t always look like girl meets boy, they fall in love, they get married, they have a kid,” said Crow. “I said, ‘OK, I’m going to let go of what I think things are supposed to look like, because I can’t control anything. When I try to control things, that’s when I keep things from happening.”

Lately she appeared on Cougar Town and now is on tour to support her new album 100 Miles from Memphis that will be release this 20^th of June.
